Chai Chee has several schools, including Bedok Green Primary School, Temasek Primary School, and Temasek Secondary School. The area is also served by several bus routes and the nearby Kembangan and Bedok MRT stations. There are several parks and green spaces in the area as well, such as Bedok Reservoir Park and East Coast Park, which offer recreational activities for residents.

About Chai Chee

Chai Chee is located in the eastern part of Singapore. It is part of the larger Bedok Planning Area, and is bordered by Bedok Reservoir to the north, Frankel Estate and Siglap to the south, Kembangan to the west, and Bedok to the east.

Chai Chee was once a swampy area, but it has been developed into a residential and industrial estate. The estate is home to a mix of public and private housing, with HDB flats, condominiums, and landed properties. There are also several industrial estates in Chai Chee, with a focus on electronics, precision engineering, and food production.

A green and caring tomorrow with self-storage

We made a bold new green push in 2022 with the tagline “A green and caring tomorrow with self storage”. Under this initiative, we installed solar panels and recycling stations at our flagship Chai Chee storage space facility. We also introduced edible gardens at the facility together with SG Gardens to optimise land use and support Singapore’s drive towards food self-sufficiency.
